James R McAllister

The James R McAllister Memorial fund is a scholarship program which was founded following the tragic death of James in January of 2015. James was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman, and sadly left behind a young wife and two beautiful little girls. 

In spring of 2015, the "MAC" Memorial Fishing Tournament was organized with the goal of securing the college education of James' two daughters. James had been an honor student and athlete while attending Clay High School. He subsequently attended Eastern Michigan University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in business studies. We decided to continue this endeavor with the development of a  scholarship to  raise funds in James' memory to benefit a deserving student of Clay High School.
